In line with Government advice Leeds City Council has decided to close all the council-run leisure centres to the public.
These closures will remain in place throughout March and April. We will be monitoring developments and following government guidance with regards to when it may then be appropriate and practical for us to reopen our sites.
The health and safety of all our visitors and of the council staff has to be the priority.
As you will appreciate, this decisions has been made with a great sense of urgency and at the moment we do not have all the answers and we politely request some time to ensure we get everything together to be able to answer all your questions and for the team to all have the required information.
We will be providing ongoing communication and providing FAQ’s to ensure everyone has the required information to answer all your queries.
We have suspended all our Active Leeds Memberships and Aquatic Lessons direct debits which will mean that no further payments will be made during this period of closure.
This means that you do not have to do anything in regards to your payments as we have taken care of this and ask that you do not cancel your direct debits as this will stop future access to the service. All other courses i.e. gymnastics/football etc will be sorted in due course, however time missed by the closure will be added onto the rest of your membership/course/session when we reopen.
We are working on our online content via social media so please follow or continue to follow us in the coming weeks. For further information and updates please visit the Active Leeds website where we will be providing regular updates in line with government guidance.
We would also like to thank all our visitors and staff for their continued support and look forward to welcoming people back in future.
